You will need to deal with each room at a time, sealing off the area using plastic sheeting and duct tape and thoroughly cleaning the area before you move on to the next room. Close doors and windows and block off any ventilation ducts before you start. Turn off any ventilation systems to prevent the spread of the spores.
You must do your best to prevent spores from the mold getting into the air so use water to damp down the areas to be cleaned first. Now clean areas that are affected thoroughly with soap and remove as much of the mold as you can. Treat the area with disinfectant that has specially been made to deal with mold. Clean all the surface areas as they may be infected even if you cannot see mold growing on them. Thoroughly dry all the surfaces after you have cleaned them. Some surfaces, especially of porous materials may be so damaged that they would need to be replaced but not porous materials such as metals plastics and glass should be reusable.
Infected materials need to be disposed of properly. Put them into heavy duty plastic bags and seal carefully. Try not transport through the other rooms in the house but use a window to place them outside before disposing of them in a landfill. if you are careful you can carry out black mold removal safely and successfully.
It is extremely important that you prevent regrowth of black mold by making sure that the conditions that allowed it to grow have been dealt with.
